How We Control Quality

The standard inspection scope is defined by the specification and ITP for each project.

Standards Compliance Check

Verifying compliance with specification requirements and applicable standards (ASTM, ASME, EN, API, GOST).

Geometry & Dimensions

Wall thickness, diameter, length, bevels, tolerances — measured per standard or client ITP.

Visual Inspection

Surface inspection for defects, marking and batch identification check, heat/lot traceability.

Chemical Composition & PMI

Hardness

Hardness testing with portable instruments when required or per ITP.

UT and Other NDT Methods

The Esteel office is located in Hangzhou (Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China) — in the heart of one of China's largest industrial clusters. This enables us to interact promptly with partner factories and conduct inspection personally at the production site.

Yes. Esteel specialises in non-standard tasks: products to drawings, specifications and samples. Before launch we carry out engineering review, select the production site and agree the quality control programme (ITP).

No. Quality control is a mandatory Esteel standard for every batch. We do not ship products without prior inspection. The scope of control is defined by the specification and agreed ITP.

An ITP (Inspection and Test Plan) is an inspection and testing plan. A document that records all inspection types, methods, inspection points and acceptance criteria for a specific batch or order. It is developed before production launch and agreed with the customer.
